These are pictures from my senior-thesis show, exhibited at Montana State University in April of 2014. I used teeth as a symbol for human development and mortality. We come into this world toothless and innocent, and then we start biting and hurting others as we gain knowledge of our surroundings. We lose them, straighten them, wear them down, and use them to identify our dead. Roots and All was an exploration of the enamel and calcium that unites us as a species.
In this album there are prints created using lithography and intaglio printmaking techniques.
